Notum Tree

Amidst all the molten lava in the middle of nowhere in Avalon, this strange sight can be found. A lone tree growing out of the arid wasteland, completely surrounded by lava, on a small floating piece of land, connected by a series of small bridges.

Probably the last place anyone would expect to find a tree, except maybe for a huge oaktree suddenly growing out of your nose.

The area surrounding this landmark is pretty free from roaming mobs, so you should be relatively safe, apart from the lava. The Notum Tree is a beautiful sight in itself, although the hostile terrain surrounding it destroys the image a bit. This is also a very nice place to pick some Carbonrich Rocks, if you are into that sort of thing, or why not take your loved one out for a hot date, skinnydipping in the lava?
