Rompa Bar
700 x 680, Omni-1 Entertainment
After the recent and continuing problems with Baboons, this little bar in the
vicinity has taken over much of the clientele, and is now considered to be the
hot spot for socializing in Omni-1. Very rarely will you enter Rompa and not find
people hanging out. Just head south-east a wee bit from the entrance of Baboons
and you should see a rather odd sign to your left.
Now, in a world full of different languages and integrated nano-translators, the
actual name of this place might be lost on many. It appears the founder of this
place made use of his ancestors old language, Norwegian, to come up with an odd
but funny name - roughly translated, Rompa Bar in norwegian will turn into "Butt
Naked" (Rompa meaning "the butt" or "the ass", and Bar
having multiple meanings, one being Bar as is, and the other "naked"
or "exposed"). If you look a little closer on the sign too, you will
indeed see a cartoonish depiction of a butt. Now, if this isn't a darn good invitation
to come inside and have some fun, I don't know what is.
The interior style is very calm and easy, with dimmed lighting and cosy booths
for privacy. Very lounge like. As far as size goes, there's plenty of seating
and accomodations, along with a fully tended bar and waitresses walking around
tending to the customers.
All in all a very fine establishment running smooth and effectively, and also
the place to meet the various celebrities of the capital.
