Ever missed those extra 5-6 treatment for putting
in an implant? Even with ability boosts and everything you could think of? Ever
walked by the stores going "I wish I was a muppet"? Then this is the
guide for you! Well ok, maybe not the muppet thing. |

This little gadget goes in your Utils2 slot and will raise
your Treatment and First Aid skills by a small amount. There are three types,
one for the common man and one for Doctors only, and even a third that enables
the disassembly of implants, but that is another guide in itself. We will cover
the production of the common and the Doctor version here, with the third appearing
later.
Ok, on to the show. You'll need three things, a Pharma Tech Tutoring Device,
a Portable Surgery Clinic, and two Hacker Tools.
|
All these items can be found as general loot, but you'll also find them in stores.
The Pharma Tech Tutoring Device is found in the Bookstore booth,
and the Portable Surgery Clinic form the Medical Supplies booth.
Hacker Tools can be found in either the Tools booth or
Devices booth.

A Pharma Tech Tutoring Device
This fancy piece of Cognitive Transference Machinery (CTM)
enables you to increase your skill in a specific field of 'Trade
and Repair'. |
|
|
|
|
|
|
A Portable Surgery Clinic
This Surgery Clinic enables the skilled field-physician to help
other people (or herself) install/remove augmentations and
implants. |

A Hacker Tool
As the protection on many Pills, Blisterpacks, Nano-Charged
Items, and Daily Nano-Charged items is very simple, this tool
can be used to 'hack' these items. |
|
|
Both the first components should be of roughly the same quality level, with the
Portable Surgery Clinic the lowest as the Tutoring Device decides the final quality
level. Also keep in mind that the Hacker Tools will be used up, so don't go about
using your best hacker tool that you normally keep for hacking everyday items.
First use the two hacker tools to hack both the tutoring device and the surgery
clinic. This requires 4.25 * QL in Breaking & Entering
and 4 * QL in Computer Literacy skills. This
will produce these two items of which QL may increase a step from the original.

A Hacked Pharma Tech Tutoring Device
The 'lock' on this device has been removed, as well
as some other minor gizmos. What is left is mainly the Pharmaceutical library
and the CTM-transmitter. |

A Hacked Portable Surgery Clinic
The Protection of this Portable Surgery Clinic has been removed, and
the ScalperBots disabled. Although the medical library is intact, the clinic is
useless. |
|
|
From here, you can opt to either create the regular Treatment Library, which everyone
can use with enough Computer Literacy and Treatment skill, or the Doctor one,
which only doctors can wear. Doctor-only Treatment Libraries are much stronger
than normal ones. Combining these items either way requires 4.5 * QL
in Electrical Engineering and 4 * QL in Computer
Literacy.
Normal Treatment Library:

Treatment Library

on yourself or others. It does so by
giving advice and making medical knowledge temporarily availabe through a CTM
transmitter. |
|
|
Doctor Treatment Library:
Do things the other way around and use the Hacked Portable Surgery Clinic on the
Hacked Pharma Tech Tutoring Device, like this - please note that the order in
which you use these are vital! Pick up the Hacked Portable Surgery Clinic
and Shift+Rightclick on the Hacked Pharma Tech Tutoring Device.
